Building community, one brick at a time
Brickworks isn't a warehouse with a website. It's two eastern Pennsylvania storefronts run by one family, where bricks get a second life, kids get a place to build, and everybody gets a fair deal at the counter.
How it started
It began with a bin of bricks
Brickworks opened in 2022with a simple idea and a whole lot of bricks: the best sets are the ones that get built again. Founded by a family — with a veteran at the helm — we set up a small shop in the heart of Boyertown and filled it with bins, sets, and minifigs all looking for a second life.
Word got around fast. Kids came in after school with allowance money and very specific requests. Parents came in with tubs from the attic. Collectors came hunting for that one retired set they'd been chasing for years. Before long we needed more room — so we opened our Spring City store, the biggest Brickworks yet, with space for bigger builds, bigger parties, and bigger groups.
The bricks even traveled. Family members loved what we were building so much that they opened their own brick-inspired store out in Wyoming. Same spirit, different mountains.
Our mission
Building and enhancing the eastern Pennsylvania community, one brick at a time.
That mission goes well past our front door. We share our shelves and walls with local artists, welcome school and scout groups, and keep the doors open as a place where kids can just build— no screens, no scores, no rush.

The build so far
Our story, brick by brick
Every good build starts with the baseplate. Here's how ours went together.
2022
One bin of bricks, one big idea
A family with a veteran at the helm opened a small shop in the heart of Boyertown, filled it with bins, sets, and minifigs, and bet on a simple belief: the best sets are the ones that get built again.
Ch. 2
Boyertown finds its builders
Kids started stopping in after school. Parents showed up with tubs from the attic. Collectors came hunting for that one retired set. The flagship became the kind of place where people linger — and that changed everything.
Ch. 3
Spring City — our biggest store yet
We needed more room for more bricks, so we opened a second location in Spring City. It's our largest store to date, with space for bigger builds, bigger parties, and bigger groups of scouts, classrooms, and teams.
Ch. 4
The bricks head west
Family members loved what we were building so much that they opened their own brick-inspired store out in Wyoming. Same spirit, very different mountains — and proof that a good idea travels.
Today
One brick at a time
Two Pennsylvania stores, a wall of local-artist work, party rooms full of noisy happy builders, and a counter where you'll still meet the family. We're just getting started.
What we stand on
Four bricks we build everything on
Nice words are easy. These are the ones we actually check ourselves against.
Community
We're neighbors first. Every party, every trade, and every after-school browse builds something bigger than a storefront — and we'd rather be the shop that knows your name.
Imagination
There's no wrong way to build. We keep the bins full, the pressure low, and the instructions optional so ideas can run wild — for eight-year-olds and eighty-year-olds alike.
Sustainability
Resold bricks get a second life. Every set that finds a new builder is one less tub gathering dust in an attic, and one less thing headed for a landfill. Good for the planet, great for your shelf.
Family
Family- and veteran-owned, and run by people who actually build. You won't get a call center — you'll get us, at the counter, happy to talk bricks as long as you'd like.
Made near here
We share our walls with local artists
Walk into either store and you'll notice the decor isn't stock. It's work from eastern Pennsylvania artists and makers — brick-inspired art, handmade pieces, and one-of-a-kind finds that give each shop its own personality.
Collaborating with our neighbors is part of the point. A resale shop keeps good things in circulation; working with local artists keeps good people in business. Both make the towns we're in a little better.
Make something brick-adjacent and want it on our shelves? We would genuinely love to hear from you.
