How to Play
Learn it in about ten seconds
Bricks fall from the top of the pit. Turn them, slide them, and fit them together so a whole row is full — every full row pops and everything above it drops down. Fill ten rows and you level up, and the bricks start falling faster.
On a computer
- Left / Right arrows
- Slide the falling brick left or right (A and D work too)
- Up arrow
- Rotate the brick a quarter turn (W or X also spin it)
- Z
- Rotate the other way
- Down arrow
- Slide the brick down faster — and earn a point per row
- Spacebar
- Slam it all the way down for double points
- C
- Stash the brick in your Hold box and swap it in later
- P or Esc
- Pause and un-pause the game
On a phone or tablet
- Big buttons
- Left, Turn, Right, Hold, Slide and Slam sit right under the pit
- Swipe sideways
- Drag your finger across the pit to walk the brick over
- Tap the pit
- A quick tap spins the brick
- Flick down
- A fast downward swipe slams the brick to the bottom
- Press and hold
- Hold the Slide button to feed the brick down gently
Tip for grown-ups: the page stops scrolling while a game is running, so little thumbs can swipe without losing their spot.
How points work

Every score is multiplied by your level, so the deeper you get, the bigger each row is worth. Clear rows on back-to-back bricks and you'll stack a combo bonus on top of that. Sliding a brick down earns a point per row; slamming it earns two.
Four tricks from our staff
- Save the long barTap Hold to tuck the long straight brick away, then drop it into a four-deep well for a full Brick Blitz.
- Watch the ghostThe dotted outline shows exactly where your brick will land. Line it up before you slam it down.
- Chain your clearsClear rows on back-to-back bricks and the combo bonus stacks up fast — 50 extra points per combo, per level.
- Keep it flatTall towers and deep canyons end games. Build a flat floor and the bricks always have somewhere to go.

Brick Blitz is a fun warm-up — but nothing beats digging both hands into a bin of real bricks. That part happens at our two Pennsylvania stores, and you're always welcome to just come look.
